Allows you to create a donation campaign that your donors can use to set a goal and invite their peers (typically family and friends) to donate to your organization by helping them reach that goal. By creating this kind of campaign, your organization can expand its reach to a broader audience. You are also able to create "teams" your donors can choose from while setting up their goals. Peer to Peer fundraising allows your donors to compete with each other individually or as part of team with the results being displayed on a leaderboard.
Peer to Peer fundraising is typically to set up walk-a-thons, read-a-thons, friendly competitions like bake-offs and dance-offs, etc.
This video explores how to create, edit and share a Peer to Peer fundraising campaign. To read the instructions instead, click here.
After adding the basic information and general settings you can set the Peer to Peer fundraising settings. These include:
Optional campaign goal - This is the goal for the current peer-to-peer campaign.
Hide custom amount - This removes the ability for your donors to set a custom amount for their donation.
Include different amounts to donate to a fundraiser - Donors or champion's peers will see different amounts when donating to an existing champion's fundraiser. (Each option could include an image, option name, and description)
Include different percentages to donate to a fundraiser - Donors will see different percentages of the goal amount when donating to an existing champion's fundraiser. (Each option could include an image, option name, and description)
Enable teams - Enabling teams will enforce champions to select a team when creating a fundraiser. (Each team could include an image, name, goal and description)
Add different donation levels here. These will be the total donation goal your donors can set for their group to raise for your organization.
The PayBee Peer to Peer leaderboard lets donors view all the existing fundraisers your champions have started (with information on the progress), choose the one they'd like to contribute to or create their own and invite their family and friends to contribute to it. The leaderboard also displays the teams' progress if you have enabled the "Teams" flag. The leaderboard includes a button and QR code a donor can click on or scan to start their own fundraiser and become a champion.
To find the link to the leaderboard and to find more information about the teams please go to Manage > Peer to Peer.
