In-Kind Donations
Track and send receipts for in-kind donations
In-kind donations refer to non-monetary contributions that organizations receive to support their cause. Instead of making donations via cash, check or card payments, individuals or businesses donate goods, services, or resources. These donations can be as valuable as financial contributions, and they help reduce costs for the organization, allowing them to allocate their funds to other needs like auctions, fundraising game prizes, raffle prizes, etc.
Examples of in-kind donations include:
Goods: Items like jewelry, posters, gift baskets, or signed posters.
Services: Professional services like legal advice, marketing help, event planning, or graphic design like a dentist from your community providing 5 free dental cleanings for example.
Venue Space: Donating the use of a location for an auction like a free parking spot for a month at a prime location (typically seen in auctions hosted by schools and educational foundations).
Volunteering Time: Donating hours of labor or expertise like offering a tour for kids at a local museum.
In-kind donations are crucial in many fundraising campaigns as they enable the organization to operate more efficiently while still maintaining the quality of their programs and events. They are often recognized in the same way as monetary donations, though the organization may need to assign a fair market value to the donated items or services for tax purposes.

The dialog will prompt you to select one of more of your In-Kind campaigns and then select the items you want to import. The starting bid, bid Increment, option to enable a Buy Now button and a price to purchase the item may be set for each item. Tap Confirm to import the selected items. You can continue to make changes to the imported items.
