This guide will walk you through the process of creating a Puja Campaign on PayBee.
Step 1: To set up a Puja campaign, you want to select Campaigns.
Step 2: Select New Campaign
Step 3: Select the Hindu Temple Puja Campaign Type.
Step 4: And then you're gonna want to select confirm. Once you have selected, confirm, you're now able to add an image to the Puja campaign. And you're gonna be able to add in your campaign name as well.
Step 5: Fill in the required fields to create your new campaign. You'll need a campaign image, name, description, and start/end date. You can choose to list your campaign goal, compose an email greeting to donors, and/or add an optional footer to your email greeting.
Step 6: Under General Settings, PayBee automatically collects name and email addresses, but if you also want to collect their street address, or phone number you want to toggle on these settings.
PayBee's Preset Menu: PayBee automatically pre-checks the tax donation button so your donors can receive our automated email with tax information. You can uncheck this box if you'd like to reverse PayBee's automated settings.
More Settings: You can choose to hide this particular campaign from your main campaign website or hide the pledge option.
You can also let donors dedicate their gift to someone, in which case that name will appear on their donation as well as on their receipt.
Requesting Information from Donors: PayBee recommends limiting your information requests since donors are more likely to give if they don't have to fill in long forms.
But if you would like to collect your donor's address or other information (specified either by you or by the user), you can check those boxes.
Linking Other Information to Your Campaign: You can choose to promote any of your existing campaigns by linking them to this new campaign. You can also attach a donation form (via Google Survey or other service) so donors can share even more information with your organization. And you can even change the text on your donation button (the preselected text is "Donate")
Step 7: To be able to ask donors for their street address you have to add a Address Reason. This will be shown publicly to donors. If these settings are not turned on, PayBee will not capture this information.
Step 8: Under Cover Fee settings, this is for them to cover the payment processing fee on your behalf. If you hide the option for donors to cover any transaction fees, your organization will be solely responsible for covering these fees. Making the default state for cover fees unchecked will give donors the option to either accept or decline to pay transaction fees. You can even customize the text for your appeal to donors; PayBee's standard appeal invites them to cover transaction fees since this helps your organization.
Step 9: Under Email settings, this is to where you can add additional information to the email that they automatically receive from PayBee which is templated. You are currently not able to edit this email yourself.
Step 10: In the Hindu Temple Puja settings.
This is where you can allow donors to set an amount less than the option amount if you would like to.
To request information specifically for puja purposes, check the "capture Nam and Gostra" box so you can ask for devotees' nakshtra, gotra, and rashi.
You can also list your temple's location and time zone as well as listing deity names for your pujas.
Step 11: To add a deity you want to type in their name and then select enter after each one to add it as an option Once you have finished adding all the Deities you then want to select the Hindu Temple Puja Options to add in the different options available for this celebration
Step 12: To create a new option you are going to press Add if you want to Edit an Option you select the pencil icon
Step 13: Select a cover image, name, and donation amount for each donation option you create. These donation options will appear inside your new Hindu Temple Puja campaign on your PayBee website when completed. Think of donation options like different menu items that donors can choose to purchase for your campaign.
Add a description for each donation option as well as listing any additional information for donors to choose.
You can allow devotees to choose the deity they want to honor as well as selecting the puja frequency so you can specify your paksha and tithi. Think of donation options like different menu items that donors can choose to purchase for your campaign.
You can create as many donation options as you like for your campaign.
In this example under Puja Frequency, we want them to choose dates and we then use the Choose a Date field to add the dates available.
Step 14: To save this as an option, you're just gonna select Save Option.
Step 15: If you have more puja options to add, you would select Add. And if that is everything, you're gonna select Save Campaign.
