Hybrid Event Settings

A hybrid event combines aspects of an in-person and virtual event. This can allow an organization to hold an in-person and virtual event simultaneously or to have something like an audience monitor.

Creating and Editing a Hybrid Event

Navigate to Manage > Events.

To set up a new hybrid event from Manage > Events click the purple New Event button and select hybrid event and confirm. Then add the Event Name, Event Date, and Event Time for both the in person and virtual event portion of the Event. Then click on the Create Event button.

If you have already set up your hybrid event update your event by clicking on the event itself and going to the Settings tab.

Hybrid Event Settings

Since a hybrid event is a combination of both an in person and a virtual event make sure you have the correct toggle on between if you are updating in person or virtual settings. The only setting that can be found between both and any changes made to it automatically reflect in the other are the Hybrid Settings.

For more information about in person only settings please visit our In Person Event Settings help document which is located here. For more information about virtual only settings please visit our Virtual Event Settings help document which is located here.

The red rectangle highlights the toggle when updating the Hybrid Event Settings, indicating whether you are updating the in-person or virtual settings of your event. The one you are updating is filled with light purple, and its text is purple. In this example, I am in the in-person settings mode.
